Civil Engineer

A stimulating opportunity exists for a motivated, multi-talented Intermediate or Senior Civil Engineer with several years of relevant New Zealand experience to join our team and enjoy the lifestyle advantages of living in beautiful Marlborough. A successful Senior Engineer would be considered for shareholder participation.

There is significant scope for technical and professional development, including support for the achievement of Chartered Professional Engineer status if this is not currently held. We offer competitive salaries and a staff bonus scheme.

The work will be highly varied and challenging and may involve the design and supervision of earthworks, urban and rural hydrology, wastewater, water supply, roading and services and some geotechnical work, together with project and contractor management, a significant amount of which is in the Marlborough Sounds.

The ideal applicant will have skills and versatility in civil engineering in the New Zealand consulting environment, highly developed analytical and report writing skills, and relate well with clients, contractors and local authorities. They will also be able to provide appropriate service to clients and enjoy taking responsibility for projects while working both independently and as part of a team. Ability and initiative will be recognised and rewarded accordingly.
